Help/FAQ

Cuprum Coin has undergone several evolutionary phases since its original issuance in 2021.

The project began with the issuance of the CUC token on a native Tezos-based network. In 2023, following a strategic partnership and subsequent technical restructuring, a migration process was initiated to transition CUC holders to a BNB Chain (BEP-20) environment. This migration remains open to legacy holders who have not yet completed the process.

In March 2025, following the termination of the cooperation with former strategic partner, a new token structure was introduced under the Cuprum Coin RWA (CUNP) designation. This step was taken to clearly separate the project from prior counterparties and to align Cuprum Coin with the broader Materra scientific research ecosystem.

At the present time:

  • CUNP exists on the BNB Chain mainnet and has a defined holder base originating exclusively from earlier presale and loyalty participants.
  • No public offering, open sale, or exchange listing is taking place.
  • Distribution is conducted manually and privately by the founder, limited to existing community members, and is not open to the general public.
  • Any future steps related to market access, exchange activity, or broader participation remain subject to regulatory review, licensing, and institutional alignment within the UAE.

Today, Cuprum Coin’s primary role is to serve as a transitionary and reference structure within Materra’s research and development phase — maintaining continuity for early supporters while the project advances toward a compliant, sovereign-aligned framework.

Further updates will be communicated only once the appropriate regulatory pathways are formally established.

Yes.
On August 2, 2023, Cuprum Coin initiated a migration process from the original CUC token issued on a Tezos-based network to a BNB Chain (BEP-20) token format.

A significant portion of holders completed this migration during the initial phase. However, to accommodate early supporters and long-term community members, the migration process remains open, allowing legacy CUC holders who have not yet migrated to complete the transition at a later stage.

The migration was implemented as a technical continuity process only. It did not involve a public offering, sale, or exchange activity, and was conducted exclusively for existing token holders.

Subsequent structural changes, including the introduction of Cuprum Coin RWA (CUNP) in 2025, were communicated separately and form part of a broader reorganization aligned with the Materra research ecosystem.

The migration from the original CUC (Tezos-based) token to the BNB Chain (BEP-20) format was initiated on August 2, 2023. Multiple reminders and informational notices were communicated to the community via email, the official website, and official communication channels during the migration period.

While an initial migration window was defined, the project has chosen to maintain flexibility for legacy holders who, for various reasons, did not complete the process within the original timeframe.

If you are a holder of the original CUC token and have not yet completed the migration or subsequent transition steps, you may contact the project’s official support team to request assistance.

Please note:

  • Migration support is handled manually and on a case-by-case basis.
  • Where applicable, an administrative and operational fee may apply to cover technical and processing costs.
  • Any such assistance is provided solely for existing legacy holders and does not constitute a public offering, sale, or distribution.

Support requests can be submitted via the official Cuprum Coin support email.

This is a display issue, not a loss of tokens.

After migration, tokens may not appear automatically in MetaMask if the token contract has not been manually added to your wallet interface. In such cases, the balance exists on-chain but is simply not visible.

To resolve this:

  1. Open your MetaMask wallet and ensure you are connected to the BNB Chain (BEP-20) network.
  2. Select “Import Tokens” in MetaMask.
  3. Enter the CUC (BEP-20) contract address below.
  4. Confirm the import.

CUC (BEP-20) contract address:
0x6f82C55a0C133D0788271EC1031680383eeB1177

Once the token is added, your balance should display correctly.

For additional guidance, you may also refer to the official MetaMask Support documentation on importing custom tokens.

If the issue persists after completing these steps, please contact official Cuprum Coin support for assistance.

Yes.

The conversion from CUC to CUNP is required in order for legacy holders to remain aligned with the project’s current token structure following the technical and organizational changes introduced from August 2023 onward.

CUC represents a legacy token format, while CUNP reflects the project’s current active structure. Holders who do not complete this conversion will not be able to participate in future continuity steps related to the project’s development framework.

Please note:

  • The conversion is available only to existing CUC holders.
  • It is handled manually and on a case-by-case basis.
  • It is an administrative continuity process, not an automated or open exchange mechanism.
  • The conversion does not constitute a public offering, sale, or trading activity.

To initiate a conversion request, CUC holders should contact the official Cuprum Coin support team using the project’s designated support email. Further details are provided directly during the support process.

⚠️ Important Notice – Final Legacy Alignment (CUC → CUNP) ⚠️

December 18, 2025.

For clarity, Cuprum Coin has undergone two separate transition steps:

  • August 2023 – migration from the original native forked Tezos-based CUC to CUC on BNB Chain (BEP-20)
  • March 2025 – introduction of Cuprum Coin RWA (CUNP) and swap from CUC (BNB BEP-20) → CUNP, following the restructuring of the project under Materra

Both steps have been communicated through official channels with extended grace periods over more than two years.

As Materra now moves toward institutional onboarding, expected no later than January 2026, and with CUNP positioned as Materra’s flagship nano-copper framework, we are announcing a final legacy alignment window for holders who have not yet completed the required transition steps.

After institutional onboarding begins:

all operational support related to CUC and CUNP will be concluded, and

legacy CUC tokens will no longer be supported within the project’s active framework.

The alignment process remains manual, case-by-case, and available only to existing legacy holders.
Further details will be shared via official channels.

The CUC → CUNP swap details are here.

Yes — the transition from CUC to CUNP is required in order to remain aligned with the current structure of the project within the Materra ecosystem.

CUC represents a legacy token format, while CUNP reflects the project’s updated structure following technical, organizational, and strategic changes.

At the same time:

  • There is no fixed deadline currently imposed for completing the transition.
  • The process remains open and flexible for legacy holders.
  • Support is provided on a case-by-case basis, subject to verification and administrative handling.

The transition is intended to ensure continuity, clarity, and alignment going forward, and does not constitute a public offering, sale, or trading activity.

Requests for the conversion from CUC to CUNP are handled manually during standard business hours.

In most cases, once all required details are confirmed, the process is completed within a short processing window, typically on the same business day. Depending on volume and verification requirements, processing may take up to 1–2 business days.

Please note:

  • The conversion is not automated and requires administrative review.
  • Processing times may vary based on request volume and verification steps.
  • If you have not received confirmation or completion within 48 hours, you are welcome to contact the official Cuprum Coin support team for assistance.

All requests are reviewed and handled individually to ensure accuracy and continuity for legacy holders.

No.
If you have successfully completed the swap and CUNP is visible in your wallet, no further action is required at this time.

Your position is already aligned with the project’s current token structure. Any future updates or required actions, if applicable, will be communicated exclusively through official channels.

If your question is not addressed in this section, you may wish to review the latest updates and announcements available on the official Cuprum Coin channels.
