Our team has made a decision on significant changes in the ECO system in order to make Cuprum Coin a real RWA crypto commodity.
We must immediately note that all current Cuprum Coin holders will exchange old CUC for the new CUNP at a swap ratio of 1 : 1 (Old CUC value min. $100 : New CUNP value min. $100), which means that your new CUNP will have the same coverage value in the underlying asset in the form of ultrahigh purity nano copper powder from our own production.
Swap/migration details
What is the difference? The difference is actually very large, not only in terms of value, but also in terms of formulation.
> The old CUC (Cuprum Coin) was covered by a value of 100 USD in the form of ultra-high purity nano copper powder from a strategic partner.
> The new CUNP (Cuprum Coin RWA) will represent 50 milligrams (0,05 grams) of our own ultra-high purity nano copper powder, from our production, worth 100 USD up to 150 USD.
This change is extremely important considering the change in classification from utility to stablecoin, where our crypto commodity definitely belongs. However, this does not mean that the price of CUNP will be fixed and pegged to the value of $100, but that the price will follow the price of physical CUNP in the most expensive version.
Instead of previous 6 decimals on CUC, the new CUNP will have 10 decimals.
We believe that in this way we will achieve a minimum price of 100 USD on the crypto exchange, because we will cover/guarantee all CUNPs sold so far with the underlying asset that is currently in production, and for additional CUNPs that we plan to place on the market during this year, the underlying asset will be produced by the end of February, mid-March. All underlying assets will be audited by a 3rd party and stored according to the RWA rules of the crypto exchange.
The new Cuprum Coin RWA, ticker CUNP, has already been created on BNB Chain today, and we are currently trying to arrange the swap/migration with the Bsc team to be automatic. We will notify you of all changes officially and in a timely manner.
A total supply will remain to 30 milion CUCs. Sure, additional CUNPs can be minted, but also burned if needed.
The development of a new ECO system and Whitepaper is underway and will be presented over the next 2 weeks.
Also, it is worth mentioning how we are definitely the first and only crypto commodity issuer, which is backed with an asset from our own production.
